Joseph has now spent 13 years of his life in captivity, waiting, not being able to see God’s plans. Like Joseph, we must still trust no matter how dark and confusing the waiting gets; the truth is God has not forgotten, and God will not forget his own. if you are going to look more like Christ, God is going to have to refine you like gold… and that will involve the heat of trials and difficulties, waiting, and trust when you can’t see. But remember, God's plans are transformative, and His timing is perfect.
Once God has accomplished what He desired in the refining process…God exalts Joseph beyond his wildest imagination.
