Sunday Sermon | Daniel: A Tale of Two Kingdoms | Repent & 70 Weeks

Pastor Jason continues our walkthrough of the Book of Daniel, looking at how Daniel's prayer in chapter 9 demonstrates how to stand firm in faith amid a hostile world. Though righteous, Daniel approached God with deep humility, identifying with his people's sins through fasting, sackcloth, and ashes. His prayer reveals three elements of genuine repentance: honest confession without excuses, acknowledging God's justice in judgment, and appealing solely to God's mercy rather than personal merit. Like Daniel, we're called to approach God with humility, confess sin honestly, and trust His bigger plan even when we can't see it clearly.
